Anya Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy was born on April 16, 1996, in Miami, Florida, and grew up between Argentina and the United Kingdom. She began modelling as a teenager before moving into acting.
Taylor-Joy received acclaim for The Witch, Split, Emma and The Queen’s Gambit. She has also appeared in Last Night in Soho, The Menu and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and works as a producer.
