Christopher Messina was born on August 11, 1974, in New York City. He developed a career across theater, film and television before becoming widely recognized for roles that combine understated comedy with dramatic work.
Messina appeared in The Mindy Project, Ben Affleck’s Live by Night, HBO’s Sharp Objects, The Sinner, Gaslit and Based on a True Story. His stage credits include Broadway and productions with the Atlantic Theater Company and Geffen Playhouse.
